Bedhead PJs grand opening: A cozy celebration at 332 Bleecker Street
Hot cocoa, whimsy and pajama perfection mark the launch of our flagship store.
On October 26th, 2024, Bedhead PJs proudly opened its flagship store at 332 Bleecker Street, inviting pajama lovers into a space that perfectly reflects the brand’s signature Comfort Chic ethos. From whimsical design elements, to exclusive offerings, the grand opening was a true celebration of the Bedhead PJs lifestyle.
The flagship store’s interior—designed by Atinch Tanriover, EVP of Design, the Bedhead Design Team, and JansonScuro—is as carefully crafted as the luxurious sleepwear it houses. At the heart of the design is a custom-designed wallpaper, created from one of the brand’s most beloved prints. To bring the design full circle, this exclusive print will also be available as part of an in-store-only collection, giving customers the chance to take home a piece of the store’s magic.
Adding a personal touch, the gallery walls feature artwork from Bedhead’s Design Director, Ashely Leder, infusing the space with a creative and intimate charm.
The store’s design goes beyond the wallpaper and artwork to create an atmosphere that is both elegant and whimsical. Soft powder-pink arches and curves frame the colorful merchandise, while vibrant design accents—like deep rose-colored velvet curtains, a pink velvet chair, a mint green side table, and a deep blue-green rug—add layers of comfort and charm. “We’re thrilled to give our customers the opportunity to immerse themselves in this incredible brand and let them see and feel the quality of each piece firsthand,” said David Komar, Chief Marketing Officer at Komar.
Guests at the grand opening were treated to cozy indulgence with gourmet hot chocolate from Merry Hot Cocoa, a delightful pairing for a crisp fall day. As a special thank-you, customers received a custom Bedhead PJs tote bag with every purchase—a chic, sustainable keepsake to commemorate the occasion.
